This initiative fundamentally changed how I think about design. I began by designing interfaces, but over three years I found myself designing the systems, workflows, and collaboration models that enable entire organizations to build better digital products.

The greatest lesson was that scalability isn't measured by the number of components in a library—it's achieved through thoughtful architecture, clear governance, and shared understanding across design, development, and business teams. The most effective design systems reduce ambiguity, establish a common language, and empower teams to move faster with confidence.

Today, I view design systems as living products rather than static deliverables. Like any product, they require continuous evolution to adapt to changing technologies, business needs, and the people who use them. That systems mindset continues to shape how I approach complex product challenges, balancing immediate user needs with long-term scalability.
